The main airport on the island of Kauai in the State of Hawaii is called the Lihue Airport.  It is located three kilometers east of the town of Lihue Hawaii. 

Although most flights to Lihue Airport depart from the Honolulu International Airport and other Hawaii communities, non-stop flights are now available to Kauai directly from San Francisco, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Seattle and other North American cities.

Travelers arriving at the Lihue Airport can reserve a rental car online and pick it up on arrival at the airport.
