The weather on the island of Kauai is beautiful year-round. Daytime
temperatures typically range between 70 and 85 and there is often a cool
wind blowing from the northeast. The water temperature ranges from 68
to 80.
The north and east coasts (windward side) receive more rain than the west
and south coasts (leeward side). The mountainous area in the centre of
the islands receives large amounts of rain.
